Page indexing report

Short answer

The Page indexing report shows how many known URLs Google has indexed and why the rest aren't. Many exclusions, such as duplicates and noindex pages, are expected. Google says sites under 500 pages probably don't need it; use URL Inspection for a single page.

Example URL lists in the report are capped at 1,000 and aren’t guaranteed to be complete.

A page that isn’t indexed can’t be a supporting link in AI Overviews or AI Mode (Google AI Overviews). This report shows indexing at scale. Diagnose a page not indexed by Google covers fixing one page.
